1782 - William Holland, Peter Holland, Peter Holland, Sr., and Asa Holland are on the Bedford tax list.
1784 - grant to William Holland for 497 acres on Indian Run in Bedford County VA, south side of the Roanoke (Staunton) River.
1785 - The Bedford settlers below the Roanoke (Staunton) River, for the third time, petitioned the VA legislature for a separate county. Names on the petition: Peter Holland, Peter Holland, Jr., Asa Holland, Thomas Holland, Stephen Holland, Drury Holland, William Holland, and Benjamin Holland.
1785 Franklin Co. is formed

1790 - three concurrent deeds executed by "William Holland and wife Nancy of Sullivan Co., NC" as follow:
o To James Anderson of Franklin for 200 acres on Chestnut Run.
o To Thomas Holland of Franklin for 175 acres on Merriman Run, described as lying adjacent to the 'old corner' of properties held by ____ Holland and ____ Hunt.
o To Asa Holland of Franklin for [unspecified acreage] on Big Indian Run.

1804 - Deed of Warranty Peter MORGAN of Washington Co. VA to Gabriel MORGAN all that tract of land on a fork of Horse Creek being part of the land WILLIAM HOLLAND FORMERLY LIVED ON and also where GABRIEL MORGAN now lives. 100 acres. Witness: William Stevenson, Abram Gaylemore, Thomas Bragg
1807 - JACOB HOLLAND is witness on a bill of sale with David Bragg.
1810 - Deed of Warranty George Moody to his children 500 acres in Sullivan beginning on JESSE HOLLANDs line joining Deavers corner and on Roller's line.
