Our Samuel Silvey (married to Mary Jane Byrd) was the son of John and his second wife, Mary "Polly" Silvey. They moved to west Kentucky and their daughter, Mary Catherine married my grandfather, James Babron Scott. In later years, as a widow, Mary C. lived with her daughter and husband, Clay and Maude Boitnott, of Sturgis, KY

This family moved to Kentucky.
