Store Haldol at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture and light. Haldol Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Warnings

Do not use Haldol if:

• You are allergic to any ingredient in Haldol;
• You're in a coma, have Parkinson's disease or severe depression of central nervous system;
• Take dofetilide, an H1 antagonist (eg, astemizole, terfenadine), or sodium oxybate (GHB).

Contact your doctor or provider immediately if any of these apply to you.

Some medical conditions may interact with Haldol. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially so when one of the following for you:

• If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
• If you are taking any prescription or nonprescription, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement or
• if you have allergies to medicines, foods or other substances
• Do you have the blood disease porphyria, electrolyte problems (eg, magnesium in the blood, low blood potassium), or a history of dementia of Alzheimer's disease, seizures or problems thyroid
• If you have heart problems, irregular heartbeat (eg, QT prolongation), or if a member of your family has a history of these conditions

Some medications may Haldol. Tell your doctor if you are taking other medicines, especially any of the following:

• Cisapride, dofetilide, H1 antagonists (eg, astemizole, terfenadine), macrolides and ketolides (eg, erythromycin, telithromycin), phenothiazines (eg, thioridazine), pimozide, or because the risk of serious cardiovascular side effects may be increased
• Lithium because the risk of unexpected toxic effects, including weakness, severe fatigue, confusion, or unusual muscle movements may be increased
• Rifampicin, effectiveness because they remove the art Haldol, Carbamazepine, because the side effects of Haldol, or may be increased, the effectiveness of haloperidol may be reduced
• Anticoagulants (eg warfarin) or sodium oxybate (GHB) because their actions and the risk of side effects that may increase their Haldol

Side effects

Consult your doctor if any side effects most commonly persist or become bothersome:

• blurred vision, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, anorexia, nausea, stomach disorders of sleep.

Consult a doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects:

• Severe allergic reactions (skin rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue), confusion, loss, urinary urgency, difficulty speaking or swallowing, salivation, excessive sweating, or unusual, fainting, dizziness, rapid or irregular heartbeat, fever, hallucinations, mental or mood changes (eg, abnormal thinking, agitation, anxiety, depression); extended , painful erection, stiff or rigid muscles, seizures, severe or persistent headache or vomiting; shuffling gait, uncontrolled muscle movements (eg, arms, legs, tongue, jaw , cheeks, twitching, tremors), vision problems or injuries that are the skin or eyes.

Bupron SR can be addictive. Do not take a larger dose, take it more often or for a longer period than your doctor tells you. Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to Bupron SR or other drugs. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about taking any other medications and nonprescription drugs you are, or have taken within the past 2 weeks. Tell your doctor even if you drink large amounts of alcohol or cocaine, opiates and other drugs so that you can easily and tapered at the end of their use depends. Abrupt increases the risk of seizure. Tell your doctor if you or ever had glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, difficulty urinating, an over active thyroid, liver, kidney or heart disease have had. Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had seizures, brain tumors, head trauma or an eating disorder or taking antipsychotics, tranquilizers and antidepressants.

Side effects consisting of dizziness, weakness or tiredness, excitement or anxiety, dry mouth, insomnia, nightmares, changes in appetite or weight. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not disappear, frequent urination, difficulty urinating, constipation, blurred vision, change in libido or ability, excessive sweating, headaches.
