Comments from Chuck Holland:  William’s two youngest children were Pleasant and Andrew J. Holland. The two brothers moved first to Shannon Co. MO (1850) and then to Texas County MO. (1860 - 1900). I noticed on one of your emails, you mentioned Pleasant as having moved to the state of Texas. In fact it was Texas County. Andrew J. beget William Holland, who beget George Washington Holland, who beget Charlie Holland, who beget Lemmie Holland, who begetted me! George Washington moved my line of Hollands down into Arkansas.

I looked at my copy of the 1790 Salisbury District, Guilford Co. NC Census.  Living 70 families over from William is a John Holland.  He is single with no one else living in the home.  I firmly do not believe this John is William's father.  I believe William's father was a Leven Holland.  He died in Guilford Co. prior to the 1790 Census.  Just another mystery I guess.
