1. Elias R. "Robbie"3 Roberts (John C.2, Elias1) was born 27 Oct 1818 in Roane County, TN, and died 1902 in Roane Co TN, bur. TN Church Cem.. He married Mary McCormack 01 Sep 1840 in Roane County, TN. She was born 1822.

Living relatives who remember Elias, report that he was known as "Robbie", and that he was a life-long farmer. He was one of the principals involved in the settling of his father's, John C. Roberts, estate. He and his wife are listed in the 1850 Roane census with 5 children, and in the 1860 census with 7 children. He was probably in the Civil War, and is said to have drawn a pension. He died in 1902, and is buried in the TN Church Cemetery on the Paint Rock Ferry Road southeast of Kingston. Only a field stone marks his grave.

3. John C.4 Roberts (Elias R. "Robbie"3, John C.2, Elias1) was born 10 Nov 1842 in Roane Co. TN, and died 27 Oct 1927 in Gallatin, Sumner Co, TN. He married Mrs. Susan Tony Smith in 20 Dec 1865 Smith County, TN.  (John, age 18, appears in his parents' household in the 1860 Roane County TN census)

Amanda must have died because she is not on the 1900 census record with William and children. The last child born 1891. The tombstone listing below has 1893 as death for Mandia C.

There is a tombstone listing for a Mandia C Hart. I'm not sure if it is the Amanda mentioned above.
