BITS AND PIECES OF INFORMATION I HAVE GATHERED

Yearb Adkisson Roberts, was born 7-20-1873 in Lawnville, (Roane County) Tennessee. He died at 1:50 P.M., June 22, 1927 at the Later Day Saints Hospital in Idaho Falls Idaho. He died of Pneumonia - Tuleremia. He was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery at Idaho Falls. Reverend H. Pollard. officiated.

Shirley Evelyn Roberts, died at 1:30 P.M., March, 10, 1924 at Roberts, Idaho. She was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Idaho Falls, Idaho. She died of pneumonia. Reverend W.A. Service, officiated.

Our Mother, Myrtle Mae Roberts, remarried four years after our father died. She married Leo J. Poler on Mar. 23, 1931, at Cornell, California. Leo Poler died in an accident about 1937 or 1938. Our mother never remarried again. After looking this information over, it appears that my father, Yearb Adkission Roberts, who married my mother, Myrtle Mae Graham on May l, 1904, in Tennessee, must have moved right after that to Thornton, Washington. My oldest sister, Mary Ola was born at Thornton, Washington on March 26, 1905, just ten months after my parents were wed. Some of the records show my fathers middle name spelled Adkisson but the older records show it as Adkission. One of the daughters of Thomas L. and Mary Jane Roberts is listed as Susan William Roberts. I doubt her middle name is William, but who knows. One record shows that my father, Yearb A. Roberts and mother, Myrtle M.(Graham) Roberts were married in Kingston, Tennessee. Another record shows Lawnville, Tennessee. I don't know which is correct. In looking at an atlas, I can't find Lawnville listed in Tennessee. Maybe the town was renamed or maybe it no longer exists. My sister Edna Mae (Roberts) Huseman, gave me a a plaque with a picture of the church where my father, Yearb A. Adkisson and mother, Myrtle Mae (Graham) Roberts were married on May 1, 1904. The church is Young's Chapel at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Kingston, TN. As the information comes in to me I just keep adding it to the list I already have rather than changing the whole bit of information every time.

THE FAMILY OF GEORGE M. GRAHAM

GEORGE M. GRAHAM, married Laura Ingram, b. 11-18 1869, d. 3-29-1891.

Their children:

Dora Graham
Myrtle Mae Graham, born 8-18-1888, died 2-10-1954.

GEORGE M. GRAHAM, remarried to Laura Ann Roberts.

An interesting side-note, George M. Graham, married Laura Ann Roberts after his first wife died. His daughter, by his first marriage, Myrtle Mae Graham, married Yearb Adkisson Roberts and therefore, in effect, she married her Step-Uncle. This would make him my (Thomas Lyle Roberts). great Step-Uncle. I think that my step-grandmother, would also be by Aunt? This is too much for my poor little brain to absorb. September 2, 1994
