I can add that Michael Shipwash was a son of Michael & Arrarat (Kerr) of Surry Co., NC. He was a private in Company K, 5th Regt. Tenn. Volunteers between 1862 and 1865 and was crippled in the left ankle. He and Pelina had four children of whom I know: John (1858), Isabella (1860), E.C. (1862), and S.E. (1867). There may have been others. Michael was in Loudon Co., TN in the 1890 Civil War veterans census

Father: Isaiah Phillips, Sr. Mother: Martha SolomonMilitary records show Charles Goodman Webster enrolled Dec 18, 1861 at Somerset, KY as a private in Capt. Louis M. Westers Co. G, 1st Tenn Reg of Mounted Inf. of the Union Army. He was honorably discharged at Knoxville, TN in Dec. 1864.
After his discharge, he returned to Roane County where he resided on his farm until 1905. He then "went West" and lived in the state of Washington until about 1912. He then returned to East Tennessee where he lived for a period of time in the Old Soldiers Home at Johnson City, TN. He applied for a pension in 1912. He died in Harriman, TN on March 20, 1914, and is buried at the Dyllis Cemetery.
